Hi,
i am planning to bring custom informations on my SB2 with a own RSS Newsfeed. When i started with testing, i figured out, that my SB2 does not refresh his news every time, the screensaver starts. Does anybody know, when and how often the Slimserver/SB2 refreshes the Newsfeed informations ???
Thanks
Phiddel

30 minutes -- it's hard-coded in Plugins/RSSNews.pm (along with a
request not to lower that value).

every hour... (more often than that risks a ban from one of the default feeds)

Plugins/RssNews.pm line 100:
my $refresh_sec = 60 * 60;

did that change recently? Says 30 * 60 in my slimserver-6.0.2-1 install.

might be a 6.1 thing.

same line, 30 is cutting it pretty close though. Slashdot was banning
a fair number of users (including myself) becuase of the rss plugin.
Seems to be ok now.
