Where on earth does i-tunes store playlists, as my squeezebox can only seem
to see "empty" playlists, indexed under the standard i-tunes headings?

I have my music in one place on the PC (running windows) and the squeezebox
sees all the music and not the playlists.

It would save me a few hours this week if anyone could guide me to the
answer!!!

itunes stores all its information in a file called iTunes Music Library.xml.
This file includes track metadata and playlists

missing playlists is a known bug, not experienced by all users.

Stephen,

Try looking in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\My Documents\My Music\iTunes

Cheers,

James
