I have used SB2 with 128 bit WEP since I got it, and everything has worked really smoothly. Now, I changed to WPA personal, and though I am able to connect and use the player as usual, the player freezes for about 10 seconds in 30-60 intervals.

When the player freezes, it continues to play audio, but the display is not updated, and it will not accept any remote commands. During this time, there is a low level, but noticable "tapping" noise, with an approximate frequency of 2-3Hz (!).

Switching back to WEP makes everything work perfectly.

I run slimserver 6.0.2, firmware 11.

Can you post some information about your access point model and
firmware version number?

We've fixed all the wireless incompatibilities we've been able to
reproduce, but you may be using a device or version that hasn't been
tested.

Sure, I'm using a D-Link DI-514, H/W revision B1, running firmware version 1.03.
