I am using SlimServer 6.02. I have configured my Server Settings | Bahaviour | Articles to ignore when sorting artist names to:

The El La Las Le Les

Notice the Los has been deleted from this list.

Nevertheless, albums by Los Angeles Guitar Quartet are still placed under "A" rather than "L" in the Artists sorted list.

Maybe this is similar, but I find the database is case sensitive:
"Gang Of Four"
is different than
"Gang of Four"

Thanks,
Phillip

I believe the artist sort order is stored in the database, which means
that if you were to change settings that would alter the sort order
after your database has been built (i.e. your tracks scanned) you
would need to wipe the database and rebuild it to have the changes
take effect. I'm really just hypthesizing though so I could be
totally wrong.

Ben -

You are a Hero of the Revolution. You were absolutely correct in suggesting that I needed to Wipe the database, rather than simply Rescan.
