MSN Messenger 7.0 has a new feature to show "Now Playing" when you play stuff in Media Player.

Wouldn't it be cool if somehow it could detect what you are playing on your Squeezebox too?

Anyone any ideas how that could be achieved?

I've been trying to find info on the same thing...it would be a very cool
plugin that's for sure. I'm going to try to add that feature to WebLogger.

I was doing this a while ago (as Danny will no doubt remember).

Thanks to his great plugin, a bit of my trickery & Miranda MSN I was able to set-it up.

But now it's becoming part of the MSN standard I'm gonna give it a miss methinks, everyone and their dog will be doing it and it will become yet another web annoyance.....

P.S. Am I the only one to think the new MSN Messenger is a pile of ____ ?

The beta was way more stable than the release version, but hey this is M$. I've got a friend who occasionally loses the ability to type and has to handwrite to me !!

I don't use any Instant Messenger program. I used ICQ back when very few
people were using it and it was great. Now all Instant Messenger progs are
good for is receiving pr0n spam. I have the gmail notifier set to check
every minute or so, so I don't miss any important emails. Email is almost a
quick as IM so I just use that.

Just my $0.02.

Haha, I don't know about that. I never receive any spam IM messages.
I have my security locked down though, so unless I know you and have
you in my list, you can't see me. I've had the same login name for
AOLIM for 10 years or so.
