Hi,

Going through all the options on my SB1 / 6.0.2 combination I found something called Podcast Browser. As soon as I right-arrow this, the slim.exe process halts with an error message in Event Viewer :

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Can't use string ("") as a subroutine ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/Slim/Buttons/Common.pm line 1048.
.

Is this a bug? (this could well be a stupid question, for I do not know if I need to configure some essential parameter to be able to use podcasts, or it might only work with SB2, but I think it is odd enough to mention here)

WinXP(pro)
Slim.exe as a service

Paul

I believe that the podcast browser only works with SlimServer 6.1.

I believe you're right. There even seems to be a discussion on how to disable it in pre-6.1 Slimservers. Unfortunately I missed that, thanks.
