I am new to SB2 and Slim Server. I rip my tunes using Cdex. What I have noticed is that Slim Server seems to download and display cover art for my MP3 files but not my OGG. Is there a way to get SS to show cover art for OGG files?

Slimserver will pick up cover art in each album directory - the default name it looks for is cover.jpg but you can change this if you want.

You can also set it up to look for artwork in a central directory based on name/artist/album typr parameters.

Have a look in Server Settings->Interface in the web interface at http://localhost:9000

SlimServer also looks for embedded art inside of MP3 files, so if the
original poster is ripping to Ogg Vorbis, but has a pre-existing MP3
collection as well, some or all of those MP3s could already have
embedded artwork within them, whereas newly ripped files won't.

SlimServer itself does not download artwork for any files off the web.
If SlimServer is showing art for a file and you haven't placed it
there yourself, chances are it was already there to begin with, or
another music management software you were using downloaded the images
and embedded them in the files.

All my MP3 folders have

AlbumArt_{76E9A8E3-8DA6-42AA-AB32-512DDB3C59E7}_Large.jpg
AlbumArt_{76E9A8E3-8DA6-42AA-AB32-512DDB3C59E7}_Small.jpg
AlbumArtSmall.jpg
desktop.ini
Folder.jpg

The desktop.ini references WindowsMedia so am I right to assume that Windows Media Player downloaded the art work while it was running? (I never have used WMP to play these files; I use Winamp.)
