View Full Version : Double the plugins, double the fun

I just noticed the following (SlimServer Version: 6.1.0 - 2895).
In Server Settings/Plugins, three items are listed twice:

SHOUTcast Internet Radio
Slim Devices Picks
radioio.com

Furthermore, the settings for Shoutcast appear twice on the
page; once after the Rescan settings, and again after the
Live365 Internet Radio settings.

Finally, Server Settings/Internet Radio is simply a
duplication of the settings for Live365 and Shoutcast (twice,
giving a total of four places to adjust Shoutcast settings).
Is this intentional?

You've installed 6.1 on top of 6.0.x running Windows?

Go to the Plugins folder and remove the ShoutcastBrowser.pm, picks.pm and
radioio.pm - they've moved to their own directory.

But not all of the will actually work. Eg. only two of the total four form
fields for the number of Shoutcast streams will work. Which ones? - This
is the really fun part about it :-)

Plugins and Internet Radio - I think yes. The second copy on each of these
is due to the two different plugin versions.

This resolved the issue of the items appearing twice in the
checklist and two sets of settings for Shoutcast. However...

...I'm still seeing Shoutcast and Live365 settings under both
Plugins and Internet Radio.

Just out of interest: is this running on Windows?

See the Internet Radio page as a collection of shortcuts. I can't remember
5.x, but it was the same, wasn't it?

Are you talking about selecting stations to play, or settings?
I'm seeing two sets of identical settings, one under Server
Settings/Plugins and another under Server Settings/Internet
Radio. The only difference is that under the former, the two
plugins can be enabled or disabled on the checklist.

Settings: the radio station's settings is in Plugins as in Internet Radio.
But Plugins contains settings for all the other plugins, too.

Is this on Windows?
