Sometimes the screensaver does not turn on when nothing is playing. Should I be concerned about the SB2 have screen burn-in?

Thanks

the quick answer is, no you shouldn't.

While it is, in theory, possible for a VFD to burn-in, it does take a very long
time. Not one case of such a thing has been posted in this forum (or any
earlier incarnation), even goingn back prior to the screensavers you see now in
slimserver. they are mostly a frills and added features than saving from
burn-in

Does the display still dim after the screensaver timeout? The screensaver
should always activate after no IR activity for the set amount of time. In some
cases, the scrolling of the bottom line can prevent other screensavers from
activating on some versions of the server. However, the scrolling is also a
screen saving feature.
