View Full Version : Problem with Browser plugin interface

I'm having a bit of trouble with the plugin page on the Web Browser.
I've tried both Fishbone (my usual) and Default.

I have multiple occurrences of the same plugins showing up in the list.
There are two entries for: "Shoutcast Internet Radio", "Slim Devices
Picks", and "radio.com - no boundaries". Each of two entries can be
checked individually.

I've checked the plugin directory and there is only one .pl file for
each of the plugins listed.
I'm running the 6.0.2 server, but have the same results running 6.1.

So what did I do wrong and how do I fix it?

Also, this other thing may be related:

For quite a while I couldn't make any changes to anything on the Plugins
settings page. I'd make a change and click the change button and
nothing happened -- all my other settings pages 'refresh' when a Change
button is clicked, and show the changes made at the top of the settings
list. For me, on the Plugins settings page, nothing happened.
Refreshing the browser or restarting the browser didn't help.
Restarting the server didn't help. Removing the prefs file (so the
server will create another) didn't help. Removing browser cookies
didn't help.

Mysteriously (after about an hour), I can make changes again. But I
still have those repeated entries in the list.

Thanks,
Robert

I guess you installed 6.1 over 6.0.x. In the latest 6.1 I added web interfaces to those three radio plugins. That's why they had to move into a sub folder of their own (Plugins/ShoutcastBrowser etc.). Remove the original (ShoutcastBrowser|RadioIO|SlimdevicesPicks).pm files and only leave their folders.

How did you install the 6.1 nightly? rpm, tar, zip?

Thanks, that would explain it . I imagine the official 6.1 release will
clean up those loose ends. (?)

I'm running Windows, so I installed with the exe.
