I have been using slimserver 5.4.0-1 for months, with NO problems, on a
Dell Precision Workstation running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. It's a
dual processor, x86_64 system. It's worked fine with SoftSqueeze (< 2.0)
as well as serving a real squeezebox. As such, I have to assume that all
the Perl libraries, etc., are correct.
However, upon upgrading to 6.0-1, slimserver doesn't run at all. It
crashes upon startup, and fills the log file with lots of stuff, starting
with:
Can't locate auto/DBI/connect_cac.al in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/local/slimserver/Plugins...
Any ideas?
Thanks. Neall
