    SS 6.0 and Live365 Problem

    I think this might be related to Bug # 1247, I've noticed that after
    streaming Live365 for a period of time, several hours, that the SBG
    stops producing sound but the server still thinks that it is streaming
    to the SBG. The Now Playing info on the SBG does not change (it stays
    on the same track) but it continues to scroll. Last night I woke up
    and realized the my SBG was not playing but that the display was
    active, by this AM the display was dark indicating that SS had
    aborted. Below is the text from the event viewer. I had logging
    turned on but apparently in Windows it is lost when the service stops.

    <error>
    The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be
    found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
    information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote
    computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this
    description; see Help and Support for details. The following
    information is part of the event: Could not find slimsvc.xml in .\ at
    C:/Program Files/SlimServer/server/Plugins/Live365.pm line 612
    ..
    </error>
