Softsqueeze 2.0b2 Linux
Java 1.4.2_06
JLayer decoder
Java Sound Engine

Slimserver 6.0.0 rpm Fedora Linux
Connecting to server via ssh

I can connect and navigate initially, but as soon as I press "play" it
hangs. No sound, unresponsive to commands. If I close and re-open
softsqueeze, it connects, then goes directly to an unresponsive blank
screen. Blowing away the prefs.xml file gets me started again, but
again I end up frozen on play.

Going back to 2.0a14 works (but has the brightness bug).

I have the same thing too (except not using ssh and running slimserver
from linkstation).

Sorry, I goofed and Softsqueeze 2.0b2 does not work with Java 1.4. Can
you try 2.0b3 either from sourceforge, or the slimserver 6.0.1 nightlies.
