OK. It works!

I blew off setting up a DNS redirect in favor of a
simpler approach - I used a PSP web portal page set up
at Absurd Genius:

http://www.base2.org/~fugimax/weblog/

Then I used their URL bar to access my SlimServer box
via the web. Bingo, everything's working.

Some observations: The WipeOut Pure browser seems slow
- not designed to do much more than download I guess.
Plus accessing a library with over 2,000 artists is
*tough*.

The Fishbone skin is nice - width-wise it scales
perfectly to the PSP screen, and the browser
automatically scrolls using the D-Pad buttons for long
pages.

With a speedier browser with bookmarks, and a simpler
type input scheme, this could very well be an
uber-remote for SlimBoxen.

I have some photos up at
http://homepage.mac.com/payote/PhotoAlbum6.html for
your viewing pleasure.

FWIW: the skin displayed is Handheld, not Fishbone ;-)
