I don't know if you've all seen the flurry of reports
about the embedded web browser in the PSP game
'Wipeout Pure' - but basically, you can browse the web
via the PSP.

Coolness. Here's the 'easy way' to do it:
http://www.base2.org/~fugimax/weblog/

Can you see what this post is sneaking up to? That's
right, operating SlimServer via a PSP.

Basically, I'm going to run out to the local store
tonight and get a copy of Wipeout Pure (I hear the
game is fun too) - and then I'm going to see if I can
set the PSP's DNS to my OSX/SlimServer box - with some
sort of redirect to the SlimServer homepage. Of
course, no one has designed a 16x9 skin for a PSP yet
- (maybe I'll jump on that) - but the PSP could make a
hella cool controller. Not to mention that it also has
an infrared port (so if someone programs a Universal
Remote for PSP you do all kinds of magic with this
device.)

Anyone else playing with idea? (excuse the pun)

Steve,

I'd love to hear more about this. Do post the results of your
experiment...

Thanks,

dean

This may be a dumb question, but what is PSP?
