Richard,

Does this mean that you couldn't do the following?

1 Machine with 2 Sound Cards (WinXP, Java 1.5, MP3 Pugin)
Run 2 versions of Softsqueeze (modifying MACs in prefs)
Send out each Soundcard and have them sync (with Slimp3 also)?

Thanks.

ChriS

Assuming your using Windows: you need to check that you are using Java
1.5 and have the Primary Sound Driver selected in the audio preferences.

Yes, you can do this. Instead of selecting 'Primary Sound Driver' you
can also select the sound card by name, for example 'Realtek AC97
Audio'. As long as your multiple sound cards have different names (I
understand you can rename the devices in WinXP), then you can select a
different sound card with each instance of Softsqueeze. You _must_ avoid
'Java Sound Audio Engine' if you want sync to work.
