Live365 keeps crashing the SlimServer (6.0B3), I've also received an
email about a new player from Live365. Is it posible that they've
changed their stream and now it's causing SS to crash?

Roy - The Live365 plugin has been updated post 6.0B3 - can you give it a try with the nightlies?

Thanks.

I'm currently running the 3/25 nightly, Live365 streams cause the
service to stop so do ShoutCast streams. I've tried uninstalling and
going back to the SS 6.0 B3 base line but to no avail. My laptop is
running the 3/24 nightly and it exibhits the same behavior.

Thanks
Roy

is this or something similar the crash you see?

Can't use string ("live365://www.live365.com/play/s") as an ARRAY ref while
"strict refs" in use at /usr/local/slimserver/trunk/Plugins/Live365.pm line
651.

No,
The service just stops and the SB reports that it lost contact with the SS.

look in the event viewer, or use command line. the service is useless for
reporting why it died.

kdf,
Here is the text of the event log error. I get this for both Live365
and ShoutCast streams.

<error msg>

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote
computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this
description; see Help and Support for details. The following
information is part of the event: Can't call method "title" on an
undefined value at /PerlApp/Slim/Player/Playlist.pm line 429.

</error msg>

And this is with the latest nightly build?

Thanks. Should have this fixed shortly.

No,
Using Live365/Shoutcast streams. Unless you are reffering to a different issue?

One of my SB1G's is working but the other is still causing the same
thing to happen. It has to be something in the config for the SB but
what?

Thanks
