View Full Version : Minor web interface annoyance

6.0b3 WinXP GUI, Fishbone Skin.

Sometimes I find that the selected browse method gets out of step with the displayed browse list.

For example, if I select "browse artwork", go to page 2, and then click "Home", the first page of the list of albums by artwork is displayed, and the first option in the drop-down list is selected ("Browse Albums"). Thus if I later want to browse by album list, I have to select a different browse method first else first.

It would be better if the display is left untouched if the user is doing normal browsing, and only switch back to the first browse option if the user is currently browsing search results or help pages.

6.0 must be getting pretty good that this is the only issue that I can report on!

Then you will be pleased to know that this should be fixed in todays' build.
The skin now keeps the header there all the time, so even from settings or
help, you can use the pulldown to go directly to a given browse mode, or simply
click home to go back to the currently selected mode.

plugin links are working again too (at least, they should)
