Marc,

The version I first used was 6 (Perl Source Code (tar.gz) on the downloads site). I tried the nightly version in stead and it worked OK. Does your write-up need a warning on this possible problem?

Also, the downloaded files continue to show up on the linkstation as tar.tar rather than tar.gz as mentioned in your write-up. Clearly this is not a problem, but for people like me, a reassurance in the write-up would be helpful.

Once again, many thanks for your efforts on writing this up. I couldn't have done it with out your help!!

I've already added this. You may have gone through the process before
this this addition.

Good idea. I'll add a note about this in the next update I do.
