    SB2 forgot it was wireless

I have a SB2, it hasn't been on in a while, and when I plugged it in and
turned it on tonight, it came up and (I am guessing) tried to use the wired
interface to get an IP address.

It doesn't talk about the wireless network anymore, like it used to do when it
    was working.

I went into the current settings, and it only shows me the MAC address for the
wired interface, not the MAC address for the wireless. Could it be that my
SB 2 has forgotten that it is wireless?

If the unit has been bumped around a bit, it may be that the wireless
module inside has been disconnected. This would make it behave like a
    "wired" squeezebox.

    Also I don't think it's a squeezebox2 - those are not shipping out for
    a couple more days.

yeah, you are right. I am talking about the thing which has an antenna
sticking out the back. Will crack it open and check to see what's what
      inside.

      thanks,
