Not that I would ever buy anything from an online music store!

Vote with your wallet. I don't buy DRM music and I won't use iTunes.
That's how I "think different." I just bought two CDs at Tower
Records. I'd rather give them my business.

I would never spend money on a compressed version of music whether it's DRM
or not.
I too prefer to buy CD's but even then I try to avoid anything with Copy
Control.

I can't say I'd never buy anything from an online music store, because
I have. But I can say it was in FLAC format; lossless and without drm.

It all depends on what music store you visit. :)
