Running SLIMP3 on a G3 with Mac OS 10.3.8.

Going to have to do a brain-wipe on the machine.

What do I need to do to preserve my playlists and other aspects of
SLIMP3 before doing this draconian procedure.

I have a SB which is driven by slimserver. So I'm not sure if SLIMP3
also is based on slimserver. But if it is, you can use the following
guide.

The basic file to save is ".slimserver.pref". I'm not sure where that
lives on a Mac installation, you should search for it if you don't
know.

Once you've found it, look inside it for a property named
"playlistdir". This should point to the folder where all your
playlists live. You should save that entire playlist folder too.

The remaining file you might want to save is ".slimserver.db".
However, I believe that it can be re-created by if you do a full scan
of your library once you've re-installed.

Nico
