Thanks for these links, Florent.

When I try any of them, I get a sped-up burst of audio; then silence;
repeat. Presumably something is misinterpreting the rate info, and the
SqueezeBox is playing out the data at many times the intended rate (and
hence keeps emptying the buffer). I've tried softsqueeze, and get the
identical result (possibly fewer pauses).

This is a totally stock 5.4.1 SlimServer setup on OS X 10.3.8 (I was just
about to attempt the installation of AlienBBC, but haven't started yet).
This was also the first time that I've (knowingly) tried an ogg stream;
however, I've since tried the Virgin radio stream URL that Phil Karn
recently posted, and that seems to play fine.

Could someone else try one of the above URLs (I've been concentrating on
France Info and FIP) and see if it works for them?

How would I go about debugging this issue? The only thing in the log is
"Could not open /Users/gaillard/Music/Playlists/_history.m3u for writing"
(which also occurs when playing the Virgin stream); and sometimes a similar
remark about "_e6_af_b5_9b_fe_a9.m3u".

I confirm the issue, same problem here with 5.4.1 nightly build ! Don't
know what is the problem :(
