If I understand correctly, SqueezeNetwork will only work with SB2.
What are the limitations in SB1 making SqueezeNetwork unavailable for SB1
owners?

There's a bunch of work to do in the player firmware to support some of
the features we need for SqueezeNetwork, including support for multiple
servers, setup user interface, DNS, support for direct MP3 streaming
(ie. not proxied by the server). It's not clear that there's enough
memory or CPU power left in SB1 to do all this.

I'm not ruling it out, but it's certainly going to take a while.
