I have started to rip my record collection to FLAC. I am using one FLAC file
per album, internal cuesheets with tag information included as numbered
Vorbis Comments.
This works great with SB1 and server-side decoding.

Will FLACs with embedded cuesheets and tagged using numbered VC work with
the client-side decoding on SB2?

More generally, will the native FLAC functionality of SB2 support all types
of FLAC functionality currently supported by server-side decoding?

I'm curious as to why you did this. I've also ripped my own collection
to FLAC, but with one track per file.

Before I did this, I ran a test using everybody's favorite "continuous"
album, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. I ripped it as a single WAV
file, and then again as individual tracks. I found that the
concatenation of the individual track files was exactly bit-for-bit
identical to the single WAV file. This told me that I could rip
everything as single tracks and have them play correctly as long as the
player doesn't insert any pauses. This seems to be the case for the
Squeezebox/Slimserver.

What support is there in Slimserver/Squeezebox for cue points within a
single large FLAC file? How do you easily play just one track on an album?
