Does softsqueeze support playing flac directly (without decoding to wav
on the server)?

The softsqueeze release notes imply that it can, but I can't seem to get
a convert.conf entry that will actually work.

I've tried various entries like:

flc flc softsqueeze *
-
flc flc * 1b:86:de:77:15:e1 <-MAC of softsqueeze player
-

And according to d_source, the server always uses the flc->wav entry.

Is this supported in the server or have I set something up wrong?
Softsqueeze 1.6, server 5.4.1 (Feb 9).

Thanks

I never managed to get this to work very well. I am not sure that the
Java FLAC decoder works with streamed FLAC files, it is on my list of
things to look at but so far it has not got to the top.
