View Full Version : HTTP Error 500 Using Palm

Hello All,
I am a brand new Squeezebox user and I have to say I'm very pleased with the product and to be part of this user community.
One of the many things that attracted me to the Squeezebox was the ability to access the server through a web interface. Having a Palm Tungsten T and a Bluetooth connection to my PC (Windows XP), it seemed that I had all the necessary kit.
Unfortunately, while I can readily access the Internet from my Palm, I get an error returned whenever I try to access the SlimServer - 'Unable to connect to Server. HTTP 500 Internal Server Error' - which could mean almost anything! I did wonder whether accessing SlimServer using the same IP address as the Internet Connection Sharing address may cause problems but I have since tried again using a different network connection (and IP address) to the same PC with a similar result (my MoBo has two network adapters).
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks
Regards
Chris

I'm not really an expert (by a long shot) on Bluetooth with windows, but if your
slimserver is running on teh same XP machine, why not try
http://localhost:9000/ ?

or try http://localhost:9000/HandHeld/ to access a better skin for handheld
devices if your server is set for the Default skin
