I am trying to clear up some dodgy mp3 tags by browsing through the SlimServer UI looking for mistakes.

When I find a mistake, I want to look at the song info to find out where the track is located, so I can then use some external tool to correct the tags.

It appears that I have to add the track to the current playlist, before I can click on the Song Info button from the right-hand playlist panel. Is there any reason why the Song Info button isn't available in the left-hand browse panel? I would find this quite useful; after all, one can browse info from a SqueezeBox without actually adding to the playlist.

it is not there because it is not needed. if you click on a single song title,
you should get the songinfo page. It is needed in the playlist becuase clicking
on a song title plays that song.

Ah, thanks. I thought I'd browsed song info from there before in the past. I'm sure I tried that earlier and didn't get anything but a refresh of the current page. However, trying it now on a properly tagged song works perfectly.

I think I might of been stupid and was clicking on the album name within the track list (whilst browsing by album), because the tags were messed up, I wasn't thinking properly on what I was actually clicking on.
