View Full Version : Screensaver Font Size Bug

I've installed one of the latest nightly builds and noticed that there is now support for different screensavers "when playing", "when not playing" and "when powered off." This is a great enhancement, however, it's somewhat flawed in its current form.

For the Squeezebox in my bedroom, I like to see the time in the huge font size (like an alarm clock) when the unit is turned off. On the old version, this was easily accomplished by setting the Standby Font to huge. The default date/time screensaver would display in this font size when the unit was powered off (i.e. standby mode). This is no longer possible unless the main font size is set to huge.

From what I can tell, the "offsaver" screensaver is not using the Standby Font setting like it should. Can this be fixed easily in one of the upcoming builds?

Thanks,

Dean

it seems a bit that is needed to control the text size for those screensavers
was missed when the server was split for 5.4.1 and 6.0 nightlies.
