View Full Version : List of bug fixes from previous versions?

I seem to remember a page on Slimdevices site that listed the previous
versions and the bugs fixed. With my current problems I am thinking
that maybe I should review the fixes to see if anything jumps out.

I'm still using 5.2.1, and it seems stable, I don't usually upgrade
software unless I'm having a problem that I know has been fixed or
there is a compelling new feature. It would be nice to know what I
could gain between 5.2.1 and 5.4.

Thanks,

AndyD

Whoops, I guess I sent this to the wrong place initially, I hope it
doesn't get posted twice, but I would like to see it once. Thanks

The information you seek is available from a link on the download page:

Maybe you've never suffered the Squeezebox saying it "can't find
SlimServer" after the computer has been asleep for a long period.
With 5.3 (or maybe even 5.3) I often had to disconnect the power to
get it to find SlimServer. Now it recovers gracefully, a long press
on the power key gives the message "Restarting ..." and it then goes
through an initialisation process and connects.

That alone would be enough for an upgrade.

Also AlienBBC (and other Internet radio options) only exist in 5.4.
