Is anybody out there using a One-For-All URC-6131 (or any One-For-All
remote?) to control their Squeezebox in JVC_DVD mode?

If so, I'm having a slight problem and have a question:

The only SBox remote controls that I couldn't get mapped successfully to the
new remote are the "Now Playing" button and the SBox's volume controls. Has
anybody using One-For-All remotes successfully mapped these functions?

These aren't show stoppers, as I can access both "Now Playing" and the
SBox's volume controls via the SBox's main menu. But it would be nice!

The URC-6131 is a nice remote, BTW. There's a whole internet subculture out
there for hacking the One-For-All remotes and programming custom codes -- I
just haven't been able to find the right advanced codes for these functions!

Thanks,

I wasn't aware that the 6131 had the memory availble for use with the JP1 cable
based hack and programming. I have a 6911 which I have fully loaded with a
custom code set for squeezebox, mapped to CD code 1212. All I had to do was
download the learned functions, assign them to the keys I really wanted, assign
a device code then upload the set to the remote. I found that the memory in
the 8911 reserved for learned functions was not enough to record all the
buttons on the slim remote in one shot, so I had to download twice. If you are
using learning to do your mapping, this limit might still be your problem.
