Yes, there's no reason that you couldn't physically connect the soundcard
from your PC to your stereo and use softsqueeze to play music.

It's sort of pointless to do that though, if you want an entire PC connected
to your stereo there are many other options that will be better PC
integration such as Winamp that also offer things like wireless remote
support through 3rd party hardware.
