My local NPR station just switched up their programming and I am no longer able to listen on my Squeezebox Radio. Error is "Connection reset by remote host https://peace.streamguys1.com:7075/wskg-low". I'm guessing that's the new URL but don't know a way to input that directly if there is one. Any help appreciated and sorry if this exists somewhere in forum I was unable to locate. Logitec support was unable to help and neither was WSKG.

If the only URL available is a https one - then you need a local LMS to play - https is not supported by radio using mysqueezebox.com

edit:

On a WKSG (maybe not the right one) web site they say URLS changed on Sunday 3 Feb

try the following
http://peace.str3am.com:7070/wskg-low

Got from this page

Thank you for the suggestions! I'm sorry to be a novice at this but how do I take the URL and input that into the radio? I tried putting that address in the search function and it said no results.

Information always helps.
You have not provided details of your setup or even confirmed nor how you normally play this station (e.g. using a favorite or from Tune-in or some other way ) also you did not say you got the "bad" url in the first place. All additional info helps when giving advice.

Assuming you are using mysqeezebox.com.
Create a new Favorite for the URL I have provided.

I am using a Logitech Squeezebox Radio (M/N:X-R0001) and a Logitech UE Smart Radio (M/N:X-R0001). Same issue on both. I am not using mysqueezebox.com, though maybe I should be. I downloaded the Logitech Media Server quite some time ago but was never successful at utilizing it. I am using the built-in Radio function, which is using the Tunein app (maybe an old version?). Typically when I add a station, I am just using the built-in categories (Staff Picks, Local, Music, Talk, etc.) or using the search function, which accepts letters, numbers and symbols. That's where I tried entering the URL you provided but it said not found. I had the station as a preset (There are six presets) until I received the error (connection reset by remote host). Now, if I select the station by name under Local I get the same error even though it is located by the radio, showing up in the display. If I use Tunein app on my phone the WSKG stream works just fine. Also, I was streaming it fine on the Logitech radios fine until last week when they made the change to their stream.

I found the following two stations by using the Radio search function: WSKG-FM and WSQX-FM. Perhaps one of these is what you want. If so, while it's playing you could store the station in a preset by a long press of the relevant preset button.

I have saved few stations and podcasts to the Favourites section of my TuneIn account. These appear under "My Presets" in the Radio menu. Just another way to skin the cat.

Since you are using a local LMS - https URLs will not be an issue as long as you are using 7.9.2.

The problem seesm to be just the station updated their URLs and you also need to update - follow mrw's advice.

Thanks. Looks like my radio is using 7.7.3 but when I try to update it tells me the software is up to date and when I update anyway, it loads the same version.

Also, as far as I can tell, there's no way to access a station via URL directly.

Thanks! I have tried that and their feeds are currently a bit confused but the one I need is 89.3FM which is the one not functioning. You are correct that they have two other feeds of other stations at 90.9FM and 92.1FM that are feeding fine. I will try your suggestion of creating a TuneIn account which I have not done.

Partial success update: My Squeezebox radio running 7.7.3 has been fixed by adding the new URL into Favorites on MySqueezebox.com. I can now listen to the new WSKG stream! Unfortunately, it turns out my other radio is a UE Smart Radio running 10.0.1 which has it's own list of favorites. I tried the same thing, signing up for an account UEsmartradio.com but there is no such Favorite list that I can edit there. Any further sugestions appreciated.

I do see the UE Smart Radio in mysqueezebox.com but it is not connected and I can't figure out how to connect. Do I need to "Switch to Squeezebox"?

Make your UE Radio a Squeezebox Radio? (I would).

There is, I think, a fair amount of information elsewhere within this forum on how to turn a UE radio into a Squeezebox radio, and vice versa. Probably worth researching as to what is best for your usage intentions. I have no experience of the UE radio, so canít list out the proís and conís.
