Hi there,
I have an issue, not blocking at all, just strange and I don't really know "who' is to blame for it: Castbridge, Spotty, Group Players or maybe even some other plugin (which I doubt). Let me explain the issue:
I recently bought a ChromeCast Ultra. To use it in my LMS environment I've installed the Castbridge plugin. Since this device also gives video output and it's connected to my HT Receiver, I also set my TV screen to go on when I start listening music, to have a big "Now playing" screen :-) Album, title and artist get displayed quite well, but I get no artwork when using Spotty. I do get artwork when using local media and Spotty does display artwork when looking at other players (not using Castbridge). The chromecast is synced through the Group Players plugin with an Android tablet using SqueezeCtrl & SB Player.

Take Group Players out of the equation. Does it fix the issue?

Is there any logging option in the CastBridge to log metadata? If so,
would you see what URL it receives for the artwork? Would you get
artwork with other online services, podcasts or radio stations?

Also, get a CastBridge log (set additional debugging to Casting Debugging) to see what artwork is being sent to CC. I've seen that CC can be picky with the image size. Michael, is there a resizing of what comes from Spotty or is this pointing directly to an external URL?

It seems to be a Castbridge thing ... None of the streaming services I use display cover art when casting through LMS + Castbridge, they do however when using the native app and casting directly. Attached the castbridg-log.log file. The last file played is a local file.25889

I checked on my CC and I have artwork with Spotty. I'd have to dig into some previous discussion, but there was something related to either artork size, format or URL (w/ or w/o port, local or not). My settings for image resizing is to use mysqueezebox.com and "pre-cache album artwork" and I think these mattered.

I have tried the link for the imageproxy thingy in the log file, and the image does exist. I did have to do character replacement for the %3D and %2F (from memory) though ...
