View Full Version : Don't stop the music doesn't work with local music anymore

Hi,

I've been using spotify and my local music, and don't stop the music has always worked between them. I.e. if I would start with a local song or album, it would take songs from Spotify to update the playlist, but for about a month (? Could be longer, can't remember), it doesn't work anymore. It works fine when starting with Spoitfy

I'm updating to nightlies quite regularly, say once ever couple of weeks. Currently on 7.9.2~1537430919.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Kind regards,
f-lot

What mixer are you using (see Extras/DSTM)?

Hi Michael,

The mixer is set to:
'Spotify Recommendations (based on the current playlist)'

Please set logging for plugin.spotty to INFO and try again (see
Settings/Advanced/Logging). Then upload the server.log.zip to

Sorry for the delay.

I've uploaded the server.log. The (local) album I played was T-Model Ford's Pee-Wee Get My Gun, which is available on Spotify as well.
Playing the same album on Spotify (using Spotty), results in songs being added to the list.

Thanks for having a look.

Kind regards,
lot

Would you experience the same if you used an artist without any space in
his name?

Could you please test with 2.5.2 again? Should be out with you in a bit.

Indeed, with Radiohead it did work.

Just updated Spotty and indeed it now works again for that album. Thanks for the fast turnaround!

Thanks for the report: I already thought there was something wrong with
my mixes, but didn't look into it. Spotify must have changes something
about the search call, as searches with names with a space in them
totally failed. And I'm sure I tested this before, as most of my
favorite artists come with a space.
