Is JiveLite possible using keyboard (USB), mouse (USB) and large display (HDMI/VGA)?

I need to control my RPi3/HiFiBerryAMP2 from the installation site (my bedroom) rather than walking to the other end of the house to start/stop/change songs etc. on my computer.

Is this possible?

I know that it can be done with a 7 in touchscreen but can I use a large VGA monitor with an HDMI adaptor and a mouse and keyboard?

My eyesight and arthritis make it very difficult to use the little touchscreen and I already have the other parts so cheaper for me

Thanks..

Yes. There's even a skin optimized for this use case (HDGridSkin).

Ok, VGA won't do HD. But the concept remains the same.

Once I was told that it exists I finally found it in Tweaks. I installed it, rebooted, and now I can control the player from the device itself.

The functions are all there once I found the proper "Skin" to use.

I even found how to reboot and shutdown.

My gratitude to you for your help and to all the folks who worked to create this.

Thank you ALL.:D
