View Full Version : Reception Problem with Squeezebox Wireless

Barry,

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have completely checked all electrical and
mechanical connections for both the wireless network card as well as the
antenna. I unscrewed the antenna, checked it for any obvious problems and
screwed it back in with no improvement.

One would think that if the squeezebox was directly next to the Wireless
Access Point, you would be "pegging the needle" to quote an old saying.

Hopefully the good folks at Slim Devices can help me out when they get back
to work after the long New Year's weekend.

I've had this happen and it turned out that the antenna on the squeeze box
wasn't screwed in all the way.

Gordon,

I just like to add to your thread, that I am seeing similar things. It
seems I can't get the squeezebox to get more than ~50-60% reception, while
my wireless laptop says close to 100% when in the same location as the SB.
I haven't looked any further into it though, as the 50% is enough to not
cause any dropouts for me at the moment.
