Is it possible to run slimserver on linspire 4.5?
Just new to this linux stuff and got a copy of this (legit before anyone asks!) I would love to dump windows on at least one of my machines at home!

PS not managed to install linspire yet anyway!

While I am not running the slimserver on linspire I don't see any reason why it will not. Linspire is just Linux and as long as you have perl installed (which is the default I believe) it should run just fine.

One thing to remember is that linspire is debian based so it does not
take RPMs. You will have to download the tar.gz file instead or use a
utility like "alien" to convert the rpm into a debian package
(http://www.kitenet.net/programs/alien/), or maybe you can ask the slim
folks to add debian packages to the download options.
