Hi,
I'm trying to get the Adafruit TFT working with my Pi Zero on PiCorePlayer. If I take a look at the manual (https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-2-8-pitft-capacitive-touch/software-install), I need FT6206 (aka) ft6x06_ts as well as ILI9340. Latter is already included in fb_ili9340 and loadable under
Linux piCorePlayer 4.9.21-pcpCore #1 Thu Apr 13 19:26:09 EDT 2017 armv6l GNU/Linux

(Edit) Ok ... after some further research (see https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1050), I found that edt-ft5x06 should be the replacement driver. This is included in
4.9.35-pcpCore
Therefore, after an update you should be able to load the module for your hardware. As it is dependent on i2c
dtparam=i2c1=on
dtparam=i2c_arm=on has to be enabled in your config.txt. If - like me - you are using an Pi Zero
dtoverlay=i2c-gpio is needed as well. A quick check:
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ dmesg | grep i2c
[ 3.357622] i2c-gpio i2c@0: using pins 23 (SDA) and 24 (SCL) displays that there is "something" attached :)

So far so good ... thanks for everyone watching

If someone reads this and can help with
