Being unable to get a version that integrates MusicMagic on my linux
PC I have downloaded the latest Windows version. It installs and runs
OK but does not scan my music directories.
The error is below. I have tried it on two machines, one with the disks
local and one across the network. I have tried UNC paths and drive
letters. It will accept a folder on C:
Any ideas?

The server is now rescanning your Music Library.

New value for Playlists Folder rejected:
Oops - "\\MServer\Temp\Playlists" doesn't seem to be a valid directory.
Try again.
New value for Music Folder rejected:

Oops - "\\MServer\MP3" doesn't seem to be a valid directory. Try
again.

Are you running SlimServer as a service under Windows? I believe
that Windows doesn't give services permissions to access network
shares by default.

Try running SlimServer as a user application to test if this is
the problem or not. If SlimServer can then see the music then it
almost certainly is. To fix it you'll need to adjust permissions
in Windows to give the service access to network shares. I don't
know how to do this, but there have been several posts on it in
the past so you might find an answer with some searching on gmane.
