i know i know...you're all working hard on it, but i have a question as to
what this will mean:

At the top of my list of features is the ability to choose not to "explode"
multi artist discs into multiple artists. i.e. if the only Rammstein song i
own is on the Lost Highway Soundtrack - i would rather Rammstein not be
listed in "browse by artists" i would instead like to list "Lost Highway" in
"browse by artists". Clicking on "Lost Highway" would render just like
clicking on an "album" it would show the list of songs (perhaps with artists
by them?) I think of "Artists" as being the parent of "Albums" which in turn
is the parent of "Songs" - like everyone else does. *Except* in the case of
compilations - then "Album" should become the parent - but for display
purposes only.

I have many compilation discs that i would like to view as seperate and
complete entities and not individual artists if i choose (iTunes let's me do
this). My collection currently has 1027 artists but i'd say that about 200
of these have only 1 song to their credit. The upshot is that browsing my
artists folder would take a lot less time and i'd find what i wanted to more
easily.

I would, however, like for these artists on compilation albums to be
available in the artist search - so the artist information would still be
there, it's just a question of how i want to display it.

keep up the great work!
