I have a windows 10 PC.
I have a Lms 7.9 instaled, but when I start it, it starts for seconds and stops.
Very strange.

Any help is welcome.

Oh,Oh, Antonio :), when you installed the LMS did you right click the .exe and "run as administrator"?

Welcome

How do you start it?

Click on the taskbar icon?

Right click on the same icon and start as admin?

Set it to start at log in?.

Either something else is running on that PC and is using those ports or (more likely) your anti virus and/or firewall is blocking LMS. Make sure there is not another instance of LMS running on the PC.

Sounds like a permissions thing.

Normally when you start the Windows LMS for the first time you get a little window open asking if you want to allow LMS to connect to the internet.

You'll have to enable the ports, or at least check if they are open.

How to check the ports??? There are no third party anti-virus software im my server. There are only regular win firewall (disable) and windows defender (disable).
Thanks

I just reread the thread and saw that you have referred to the Diagnostics page already, sorry.

If you take the top ip address and type it in to a browser (not Edge) add :9000 and press enter do you get anything?

You could always use an uninstaller, make sure all traces of LMS are removed and do a fresh download and start again.

As an aside, I don't think it's a good idea to disable Defender and the Firewall as a general rule.

That's I have already seen (the 3 ports failed). I am asking how to inspect it in win 10 , and make changes to solve the problem!
Thanks
