Cant find music files on Fedora Box.

this is most likely a permissions problem. what are the permissions on the
directory /root/server/music and what are the permissions of the folders
below it?

Do an ls -l and show us what the output is.

you can simply run chmod 755 /root/server/music and see if the server can
then connect, that will open up permissions to the extent needed by the
server, if it then connects but doesn't see your music then your subfolders
have the wrong permission also.

This is a Linux Newbie Question.



My files are in:

/root/server/music



I enter this in the Music folder on the Server settings.



The server can not find the connection.



So what am I missing?
