How do I backup the config

I have thirty slimp3 devices in our resort running off one server. Having
spent considerable time identifying the players and configuring them, I want
to make sure I can backup the configuration and that it will survive
upgrades or transferring to another server. What file holds that data and
how do I transfer that to a new installation?

The defaults files and locations are:
Linux:
/etc/slimserver.conf
~/.slimserver.pref

Windows:
c:\program files\slimserver\server\slimserver.pref

OSX:
~/Library/SlimDevices/slimserver.pref


They are just text files, so to back them up, copy them somewhere safe. To
restore, just do your usual install on the new/recovered pc then place your
safely stored prefsfile back in the locations above.
