View Full Version : mysqueezebox.com not accepting new accounts??

A friend of mine just created a new account on mysqueezebox.com. He is using the squeezelite player under VortexBox.

His player showed up in mysqueezebox.com and he added a few apps to it but when you go to the apps section of LMS it's empty.

If I use my mysqueezebox.com account it works fine. So the problem only seems to happen with new accounts.

His player appears in mysqueezebox.com so it's not a user/password problem.

Has anybody else seen this problem in the last day or two?

To answer your question: no. Well, actually, I didn't understand the
question :-).

Any traces in server.log? What services did he add? Did you restart LMS
& player?

I have seen a similar comment on the Logitech forum. In that case it wasn't about a new account but only about a newly added service.
Could that be that issue again where LMS didn't retrieve the menu from MySB?

Yes, please check your server.log file. Probably enable debugging for
network.squeezenetwork (though total failure to reach it would be logged
anyway).

OK this is the test I did.

1. Stop my squeezelite player

2. log in to mysqueezebox.com and delete all players

3. restart LMS and set network.squeezenetwork to debug

4. Add some random service to "my apps" in mysqueezebox.com. In this case I added Absolute Radio UK, AccuRadio, Pandora, and SHOUTcast

4. Start squeezelite player

5. I can see the player register with LMS and the info go down to mysqueezebox.com. If I look in the players section of mysqueezebox.com I can see the player.

6. Look in the apps section in LMS. There are no apps listed.

I don't see much in the logs. I attached the log to this post.

I think your right. mysqueezebox.com is not sending back any app information. See this line in the logs

[15-07-03 10:12:05.4728] Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::Players::_player s_done (104) Got list of SN players: ([], [])


On my older system with an old account this line is filled with all the app information.

Ok, I do understand you're doing this for a client of yours. Where are
you located? And where is your client located? Are you on the same
continent?

Ok, thanks guys. I'm seeing what's wrong: our DB host in the US unexpectedly went down last weekend. While it returned quickly, replication on some slaves didn't recover. The data is in the main DB, but the code returning that information to your LMS is requesting it from one of the slaves - which isn't up to date. We're in the process of restoring those slaves. Please be patient and try again in a bit.
