Yes I have searched for other threads on cover notes. I have all my CD covers (non trivial as my collection is almost all classical) but I would ideally like to see the libretto for an opera and be able to read it - or at least a plot summary. Is there a way I can do that using the "Logitech Squeezebox Controller App" on my Android tablet - either by itself or using another linked app.

I guess I could put such JPGs in the directory with the music (or indeed in a separate directory) and then use "Filemanager" to wander through the directory to retrieve the notes but perhaps (ever hopeful) there is a more cunning way to do it??

Did you check out the Album and Music Information plugin? It would allow
you to browse other files stored in an album's folder, even PDF on
supported systems (eg. web UI, iPeng, OrangeSqueeze).

Andy, as Michael said, check out the Music and Artist info plugin - start here on the thread for the Local Artwork development, http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?99537-Announce-Music-amp-Artist-Information-plugin&p=757041&viewfull=1#post757041.

Then here for further development - http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?99537-Announce-Music-amp-Artist-Information-plugin&p=791116&viewfull=1#post791116

I put the .jpg or .pdf in the same folder as the album tracks, then the .jpg's are easily displayed in the web gui or on a tablet (I use OrangeSqueeze).

I suggest that you install the plugin, move some album notes .jpg's in with the album's tracks and try it out.
