View Full Version : Network Drives with SlimP3 - how do they work?

2004-12-08, 22:55
So why hasn't this post made it to the list??!!
Since I cannot get the SlimP3 to work with wireless just thinking about
getting a remote network drive as a work-around. Saw something a while ago
here about using one and the post mentioned that one would need a drive
which has Windows loaded as opposed to a "dumber" drive.
How would this work? I assume you would load the Server onto the network
drive - but how would you control it, set it up etc? Would you be able to
"see" the server from the host PC in order to configure it and load
playlists etc?
Any help appreciated.
Best wishes,
