Folks:

I think I may have fried my slimp3. I recently moved, and the adapter I
THOUGHT went with the slimp3 fit, but the device didn't power on.
Shortly, I smelled a burny smell, and I think it my beautiful Slimp3 is
toast.

So, I have three questions:

1- What is the correct output of the Slimp3 adapter, how can I tell I have
the right one?

2- Where to get a replacement adapter if mine is shot?

3- If I fried my slimp3, can slimdevices repair it, or can I buy a
squeezebox at a discount for my stupidity? (hey, a guy can ask...)

Anyway, thanks for the help...

Hi Jim,

SLIMP3 and Squeezebox both use regulated 5V power supplies. A burning
smell isn't good. Contact support (AT) slimdevices (DOT) com to discuss your
options (repair vs. replacement).
