I have a Squeezebox duet, bought 4 years ago. I was so stupid that I upgraded the Ubunt to version 14 and then the Media Player Software would not work anymore. I then installed the Media Player Server on my Laptop with Windows 7. I am able to play the radio but I can't find the music from the media scan in my squeezebox duet. I am not able to access the Advanced settings in the software or through the internet explorer at site "http://127.0.0.1:9000/settings/index.html". Getting a message that the website can't be accessed. The same site tells my it can't access the server to find what player I got, but the Logitech webpage can confirm that I got the player. The diagnostic through the software tells me that everything is OK on both Media Server and mysqueezebox.com

Anybody got a solution to this problem?

The software version is 7.7.3 downloaded from the Logitech website.

Try Firefox or download 7.8.1

There's a compatibility issue with IE11. Get LMS 7.7.4 nightly or better.

Found the software 7.8.1 in a web page. That solved it. The IE wasn't a problem.
Thank you for the help.
The mp3-files sounds better going through Squeezebox and then to the Hegel DAC before the receiver compared to Airplay direct to the receiver.

But aren't Logitech supporting Logitech Media Server anymore, since I can't find the download at their page?
How about software for Ubuntu 14? Is somebody updating the software for that?

I downloaded the Media Player from that address. Did not work on my Windows 7 PC or the one that was upgraded to Ubuntu version 14.
There's newer versions that work fine, but that is not from the Logitech website, so yes Google is great source. If you know how to ask the question (or google), internet will reveal the perfect answer. The Logitech site was not the answer this time. Maybe I can find an updated for Ubuntu 14 at a site, if somebody are taking the job of fixing the Server software for Logitech, someday.
