Something keeps adding new tracks to any current playlist. I suspect Smart Mix, which I have installed but never managed to get to work before so forgot about. If it us it, how do I turn it off without uninstalling it? The tracks added seem to be from Spotify (which I also have installed).

Help. It was fun at first but now I want to have a playlist with just two tracks but more just keep getting added. If I delete the extra tracks more are still added.

I use a Nexus tablet and Orange Squeeze or the Logitech offering.

Thanks for any help.

Untick don't stop the music in the SM settings.

Thanks for you reply. I've used the web interface to access the server but the Smart Mix plugin settings page does not include the option you mention (settings/plugins/Smart Mix). Am I looking in the wrong place?

I am using Smart Mix version 1.4.5, Windows based Logitech Media Server 7.7.3, and Chrome.

That got it. Thanks.

I've had Smart Mix installed since Michael first developed it but I could never get it to work correctly so I forgot about it. Nice to see it seems to have started to work now though, although I find the decision to have it install with that setting chequed by default a little perverse.

Although involved in beta testing and stuff in the earlier years my Squeeze set up has worked so well since then I've hardly ever had to touch and so have forgotten much of the configuration stuff!

I don't think it is turned on by default. I've used Smart Mix since Michael first developed it and never turned that feature on until yesterday, and then on one player only.

Very odd as it is not likely I turned it on for all six of my players (and then forgot about it). Anyway, now its working correctly and I can control it I like it a lot.

You're a funny guy: you have a problem, you know what's causing it, but you still don't want to get rid of that plugin causing the issue even though it's never been working?

And I don't even remember if we ever tried to get SmartMix working. But that's for a different thread. Feel free to report any issue you see with it in its own thread. Thanks!

'Suspect' and 'know' aren't the same thing. I always meant to return to it and have another attempt at getting it working so preferred not to uninstall it unless I had to.

Anyway. Thanks for the plugin.
